SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY TAKES CENTER STAGE: JUSTUS LIEBIG UNIVERSITY TO UNVEIL NEW INTERNATIONAL MASTER'S PROGRAMME
Justus Liebig University proudly announces the launch of its latest endeavor in sustainability education: The International Master's Programme in Sustainable Chemistry.
The unveiling of this groundbreaking program is scheduled for June 22, 2024, from 14:00 to 16:00 (German time zone), at the chemistry lecture hall C 112, situated at Heinrich-Buff-Ring 19, 35392 Giessen. The event promises a comprehensive exploration of the new Master's programme, guided by distinguished faculty members and experts in the field of sustainable chemistry:
- Welcome and Presentation of the New Master's Programme Sustainable Chemistry by Prof. Hermann A. Wegner.
- "New Ceramic Materials for More Sustainable Energy Conversion" presented by Prof. Maren Lepple.
- "Sustainable Chemistry for Our Future Energy Supply" delivered by Prof. Jürgen Janek.
- "The Concrete Problem: How Can Sustainable Chemistry Help to Solve a Global Mega Challenge" addressed by Prof. Bernd Smarsly.
In alignment with Justus Liebig University's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, the event will be conducted as a hybrid information session. Applications for the Master's degree programme in Sustainable Chemistry may be submitted between June 1 and June 15, 2024, to: bewerbung.uni-giessen.de or from May 1, 2024, to www.uni-assist.de (for international applicants).
