Lütfullah AKSUNGUR

Prof. Dr. Lütfullah Aksungur was born in Yozgat in 1925. He completed his elementary education and middle-school education in Yozgat. He was graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1950. He did his military duty in United Union Association in Kore between the years 1953 and 1954. After completing his dermatology specialization in Gülhane Millitary Medical Academy in 1957, he continued his education in Wisconsin University between the years 1957 and 1960. He worked in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between the years 1960 and 1966. He become an associate professor in 1963. Between the years 1966 and 1970 he worked in Dermatology Department of Ankara University and promoted as professor in 1968. He took dermatopatology education in Boston University in 1969. He worked as dean of Faculty of Medicine in Cukurova University between 1971 and 1974. He worked as rector of Cukurova University between 1976 and 1979. He was married and had 3 children. He worked as manager of Cukurova University Dermotology Department until his death in May 23, 1986.
